BIOMARANI is a family winery and vineyard from Georgia. We produce the highest quality organic qvevri wine – without any additives, herbicides or pesticides. Our story goes beyond the wine, as we connect our family, friends and wine enthusiasts to our Georgian roots and heritage for generations to come.

We are located in the village of Gulgula – alongside Alazani Valley in Kakheti, Georgia. Gulgula belongs to the Tsinandali microzone, which is a Protected Designations of Origin (PDO) within the Georgian wine industry. We often say that we are in the heart of Kakheti, Georgia. The winery and vineyard is located 2 hours from Tbilisi and only 15 minutes away from Telavi.

We welcome all visitors and wine enthusiasts to explore our winery and vineyard. Although we don’t have open visits available at BIOMARANI, we welcome groups and wine enthusiasts to get in touch with us to see if we can accommodate a visit. We kindly ask you to get in touch at least one week before your planned travel.

We aim to produce the highest quality organic qvevri wine from Georgia – and share it with family, friends and wine enthusiasts around the world – one glass at a time. To make sure that our wine is mature and ready for public consumption or further storage – we release our wines 3-5 years after the harvest and vinification process.

We primarily produce three premium single grape wines: Khikhvi, Saperavi and Kisi (seen in the picture). All our wines are carefully produced in our own vineyard, using 100% certified organic and endemic Georgian grape varieties.
